Yeah! I got my grade and I did not totally flunk the test I got 48 out of 55, I think I still missed too many questions but I had the highest score in the class. This means that I am only 55 points away from getting an A for a final grade. I am working on a book report right now worth 40 points so if I do well on it I will not have to study for that last test. Life is good.

The Weekend
All the kids did survive their first week of school and have now entered into their second week. Gipsy was kind of bummed about her fifth grade teacher before she started school but now she is really happy; she thinks her teacher is pretty cool, well that might just change when she starts to have a bunch of homework every single day. Cheyenne got in her normal school grove and she comes home and does her homework right away, she is actually working on it a lot of times when I pick her up from school.
The weekend was pretty good. Bret got some work done on his motorcycle, I and the kids were out there helping him by shining up the chrome and cleaning of the rust with aluminum foil and coke, works like a charm.
We went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I liked it but then again I like most of the movies Johnny Deep is in, I think the girls would have liked it too but they were too busy being grounded so they were not allowed to go with us to the theater, they will have to wait for it to come out on DVD. We watched Beauty Shop on DVD if you have not seen it yet I recommend you go rent it because it is an excellent movie.
We got a little beach time in on Sunday morning and then the kids got to play for a little bit in grandma’s pool.
There are only three more weeks left of the Anthropology class we are taking. I still have not found out how I did on the test last week, since the teacher did not send me the results via email. I will however possibly find out this evening.

School is Totally Cool
Wow, summer is already over and my girls are starting school again tomorrow. Cheyenne is very excited about continuing her education but Gipsy is definitely not. She says she does not want to go back to school. I will have to wake them up at six in the morning, I am prepared for some major grumpiness but I am hoping for some excitement. I am sure my first morning back to work will be stressful, since there will be a bunch of new children at the school this year and I will not know half of the names of the kids coming to breakfast but hopefully I will have most of them memorized within a month. Joshua does not start attending school again until this Thursday so he will have a really short first week of school. I hope he will like the school here in Hawaii as much as he liked the one in Missouri.
Today I am really stressing because there is going to be a test at class this evening. I have studied for it but not well enough, hopefully it will not be too hard!!

Secret Island
We all went to Secret Island this morning and spent all day there. Secret Island is a small private Island just a short boat ride from Kualoa Ranch. Cheyenne had a blast there. I got roasted on the beach reading Harry Potter instead of my school books. Bret played some volleyball and did some canoeing with the girls. Check out the pictures!!!!
My mother-in-law got here yesterday; it is so nice to have her around again.

The Party

Cheyenne celebrated her 7th Birthday Party today. She had fun and got lots of cool stuff she wanted.
I baked her a Barbie cake again this year because she still really likes Barbies and she asked me to. Her taste is kinda changing more towards MyScene and Bratz dolls. Man, I do not like making them doll cakes at all. Hopefully she will have outgrown complicated cakes by the time she turns eight!!!
