Cheyenne

Cheyenne and the Black Widow

Cheyenne bugged us to take her to see the Black Widow play pool last night. She really enjoyed the show a lot and she took a whole bunch of pictures. Perhaps that was the fun part for her to take pictures. I did forget my camera so she used my phone which did not take very good pictures.

Bret won an autographed pool ball which he gave to Cheyenne, she also got an autographed picture.

I have signed up for classes again. This semester I will be taking Speech, Biology and English. I am stressed already. Not particularly fond of school, but at least it is pretty easy here. I hope I did not just jinx myself.

Darkness

The power went off the base last night and it is still not on yet. The girls were so disappointed to find out they still had to go to school this morning. They can not complain too much though, because they are off school all next week and a part of the one after that. Then there will be a couple of weeks of parent teacher conferences so they will have an early release from school, out at about twelve thirty during that time.

The cat is still missing, Cheyenne is so sad. I hope it comes home soon.

It is totally boring not having power. Can not turn the radio on, nor have my wake up cup of coffee. Well I guess I will just take a nap until it is time to go back to work. I am sure I will wake up if the power comes back on.

It is back on!!! It is good to be out of the darkness or so to speak.

Pási

Cheyenne and Pási

We went to the mall last night. We ate there and we played a game of Glow Putt Mini Golf. Bret was the winner, the rest us were not first so we were last. Losers!

We went into the pet store where Bret saw them big Macaw (or what ever they are called) a big bird and he really, really wanted it. He did not get it though. Them big birds are a lifetime commitment and usually they outlive their owners.

Gipsy on the other hand got a little baby parakeet, it is green and we are hoping it is a male. Females tend to be kind of mean and they have a harder time learning to talk.

The little bird got the name Pási, he is named after a parakeet my parents used to have. Although when Gipsy was little she would follow it around, point at it and say voff, voff so Pási temporarily got the name little doggie.

Sweet Lightning the cat is really interested in Pási, I think it makes her hungry to look at it. Lady is not really all that impressed by it at all and moves away from it, but Princess is dying to play with it. Do not think the bird is up to playing with either the dog or the cat. Perhaps in a couple of months Pási might be trying to teach them some manners.

We went to the flee marked this morning and walked around looking at things for about two hours. I got a blister on my little toe, that sucked.

I am getting so really hungry and my head hurts like hell. Perhaps my honey will make me something to eat. He is such a good cook.

Kaunala Loop

We hiked Kaunala Loop trail on Sunday. It was pretty hard on all of us. Cheyenne started to cry and she demanded to turn around and go back home. There was a lot of climbing up on that trail, and it was hot and humid outside. Cheyenne fell down, Gipsy fell down and Bret also fell down, he actually did the splits, outch!!!

We discovered the softest trees ever on this hike. Those trees had a really soft bark. It felt weird touching soft trees. Gipsy told me that those trees are called paper trees, seems logical. It almost seemed like you would not need an ax to chop down a paper tree but just lots of bark peeling patience.

Joshua just turned 18 on Saturday, congratz on being a grownup. Gipsy is pretty upset about Joshua being 18; she does not want him to be an adult. Do not ask me why, because I am clueless.

I have been trying to put in pictures from the hike but I have not been able to. Will try again later.

Supernova Fu**ed up big!

I am totally shocked! I have just found out who won Supernova Rockstar. Lucas won, UNBELIEVABLE. He always looks like he tripped and fell into a makeup jar. He jerks around on stage like he is having seizures when he performs, well if you can call what he does performing. Lucas is so busy mumbling when he is supposed to be singing that it is hard to understand half of what comes out of his mouth.

Wednesday

Today I am paying for the hike we went on Monday. My shins, calves, and thighs are in serious pain. Hopefully I will be fully recuperated by this weekend when we go on yet another hike somewhere.

The girls should have Tae Kwon Do this evening so I and Bret will study for our very last psychology test. Yeah! Last psychology class tomorrow night!

We are thinking about investing in a Honda minivan.

I just put some pictures into the photo album. They are actually still uploading when I am writing this so check in a little bit if you do not see any new ones yet.

Climbing with a rope

Water break

This is fun!

Look at all those tiny houses

We hiked Waahila Ridge, it was a hard hike. The ups and downs were pretty steep, and we had to do some bolder climbing. The girls did well although they were ready to head back almost the whole entire hike.

Slide Show

Movies

Last night we took the girls to go see John Tucker must die. It was actually pretty good, a lot better than we had assumed it would be. The girlies thought it was a wonderful movie and would like to own a copy of it.
