Rainy Day

Today is raining outside. I don’t like rain all that much, and as a matter of fact if I controlled the weather it would only rain at night.

I got a C on my test last week. I had figured that I would not get a good grade, and unfortunately I was right. Guess I have to make A on every test here after.

Bret and I watched Saw III. That movie was totally gory yuck; half the time I was hiding my eyes underneath a blanket because it just got to gross to watch. If you do not like blood, guts gore, and torture you might want to avoid watching that move. We also watched the Guardian with Kevin Costner, and that movie was really good.

I just put some new photos in the photo album.

Life bites!

I am doing horribly in Zoology. I have only gotten 10 points out of 20 in the quizzes we have been given. Tomorrow is the first test and I am preparing for a bad grade. I have spent most of the day studying but it just might not be enough. I should get the depressing results from the test on Saturday at lab.

Lab is yucky! We had to dissect a pig; it was nasty looking, and smelling of formaldehyde. I was so glad when the class was over. I went straight home and took a shower.

I went back to the endodontist yesterday. This was my third time going there, and the dentist did not find the missing root this time either. I am supposed to go back to see him in a month to reevaluate the tooth. Basically if the tooth isn’t bothering me at all he will do nothing. But if the tooth is still hurting I will have to have an oral surgery.

Friday and Monday I will have a deep cleaning done at the dentist. It sounds pretty painful, but I will be numb so it should be ok. Other than that I need to spend about 6 thousand dollars on everything else gone wrong in my mouth. Hmm I wonder how much dentures cost…

Well I best be getting back to studying.

Today is a day without School or Work

Well the long weekend is over and there will be no more breaks from work or school for a long while. All I have to say about that fact of life is BUMMER!

I have some major studying to do today for class because there will be a quiz tomorrow night about stuff that I at the moment have absolutely no understanding of. Or in other words it really sucks being me right now.

This weekend we took the girls to a some kind of a talent agency for a open cast calling thing. And Gipsy got a call back, Yeah! That was really awesome until they told me that it would cost us thousands of dollars to develop her skills. I told them I didn’t have thousands of dollars to give to them. So the appointment she had been offered to attend to this evening quickly disappeared. But I was informed that she could audition again after we had saved up lots and lots of money.

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy, Happy Birthday Mamma

Yesterday I went back to the dentist so he could finish the root canal. No such luck, he has found 2 roots but there should be at least 3. I am going to have to go through all that again, bummer. He did say that I would most likely have problems later on with that tooth if he did not find the root that is somewhere in hiding. Hopefully it will turn up so I won’t ever have to have work done on that tooth.

And there I was sitting in the dentist chair with Goosebumps on top of my Goosebumps. The main cause for my very bumpy skin was the drilling in my tooth. The drill scraping out the pulp of my tooth sounded like someone scraping their fingernails on a blackboard inside my head. And it was also a little bit chilly in the dentist office. It would be awesome if you would be offered a blanket to keep you warm in the chair, and large dark sunglasses instead of the clear safety glasses you have to wear.

I went to class last night and I am not sure but I think the teacher might have been speaking in a foreign language. He kept talking about protons, neutrons, atoms, and stuff like that, and he was talking at a speed of at least 150 miles per hour. And there I was the slowpoke listening at about 75 miles per hour. I am going to have to do some major studying for this class.

There is a lab that accompanies the Zoology class. In the lab I will have to dissect a pig, a brain, and an eyeball. I sure hope they will have a freshly killed pig, or it will really stink badly. I am totally grossed out by the thought of cutting up those things.

No Flu For Us

I took the girls to get flu shots today. Gipsy got to get two shots because it was time for her to get a Tetanus shot. She was definitely not happy about that at all, I don’t think I have ever known anyone that hates shots as much as she does. I hoped she would get better about getting vaccination as she gets older, but so far she hasn’t.

I have my first class in Zoology tonight; I hope it is not terribly boring.

Happy New Year Ya All

For New Years we went camping at Bellows. Bret rented a blow-up tent for us to sleep in. I thought it was awesome, but for some strange reason he was not too impressed by it. Perhaps it is manlier to struggle with complicated tent assembly than to just inflate it.

After dark we had a campfire and the kids made s’mores. That would be the Graham cracker, Hershey bar, and Marshmallow sandwich. The kids were really good at making black Marshmallows; I like mine white and gooey.

Before we headed back home on New Years day we went to the beach for a little bit. The waves were pretty big, and looked like fun to play in.

Mostly because of lack of snow it is not totally Christmassy looking here at Christmas time. But it is pretty cool to go camping on New Years Eve and be able to go play in the sand and the ocean.

The only damper on the New Years weekend was that I had a terrible toothache. I had to wait 4 days until I could actually get it fixed. Well actually it is not completely fixed, and it started to hurt some again. I will go back in Thursday and that should be it for that pain in the…

I will go back to school on Tuesday and the girls will go Thursday. I do not think that they are overly excited about going back. I am kinda ready to go back, although the 1200 page book is intimidating. I have lab this semester it should be interesting since I have never done lab before.
