Last night I finished reading a book called Cell A Novel, written by Stephen King. I was so disappointed by the ending, because it seems that the last chapter was missing from the book. The ending was just too abrupt, sudden, and without the answers that give the story the closure it needed.
I read the Dark Tower series; I really liked those books a lot, all seven. The ending was crap though and it really pissed me off.
Perhaps this is a new way of writing books for Stephen King. Ha ha ha now that you read the book you get to improvise and make up your own ending.
I guess I will just play it safe and have Bret read his books from now on so I can find out if it is worth my time to read them.
I like to read books by Dean Koontz, he has so far actually ended his novels. I have been reading the Frankenstein books, the third and last should be coming out soon. I am hoping it will have an ending.
I went and signed up for class earlier this week and will start school again next week. That means that the only book I will have time to read for the next couple of months will be Exploring Psychology, sixth edition. I just hope it gets here before first class.

Happy Friday
We went to see RV this evening. It was very funny, so go see it.
Princess is making me feel bad, she is in her kennel crying because I wont let her our. It is time to try the kennel potty training because the other way is not working and I have had enough of cleaning up her mess all over the house.
I have got to go sign up for classes next week, and I have not even decided what I am going to be taking. Perhaps Psychology, then I can go nuts on analyzing everyone. Guess I might just take that one class because I need Chemistry and Biology to take Human anatomy and physiology. And before I can take those classes I need math, man I just hate math. Oh well I guess math is unavoidable, someday I will have to take a class in it. Two plus two equals four, that’s about all I know.

Happy Anniversary to us

We celebrated our thirteenth anniversary on the seventeenth of June. That would make us a very old married couple. Same day was the Icelandic Independence Day, happy Independence Day Iceland.
We spent most of Saturday and Sunday at Bellows. Bret had rented a cabin there for us to stay in. His squadron was having a BBQ fun day so we had some BBQ and fun. I learned how to throw horse shoes; I also learned that I suck at tossing those heavy things. The girls played a lot at the beach and in the ocean. They found some blue dead jelly fish in the sand.
I do not recommend playing miniature golf outside at noon when it is really, really sunny and hot. We did and we forgot about putting on sun block and now we are all nice and crispy, well except for Gipsy she got a nice tan.
I put in a bunch of pictures for you to look at.
I have a yucky cough that is driving me nuts.

One more class done
Yet another class over and done with. I finished Human Development with an A for a final grade. Human Development was pretty easy and fun class to attend. I like it when school is easy and fun.
I should have started on my mini break from school at noon, but I was sick most of this week. I was feeling totally awful; thankfully I did get some meds to fix me up. I was unable to study so I had to reschedule the final test for Nutrition for next week. And now I have to study a lot because Nutrition is a hard subject. Unfortunately for me, my teacher went on a vacation today so I will have to wait at least a month before I will get my final grade.
Now I am going to go fix some supper. It will be yummy, I hope.

Hidden Treasures
There is absolutely nothing fun and exciting to report for the week past. Nothing happened.
Bret went a couple of times down to the beach with his metal detector. He found nothing fun.
He went to a downtown beach, in the middle of the afternoon when it was crowded with tourists, and locals too I guess. As he swept his detector over the sand he would get a reading, all excited he started to dig for the three thousand dollar diamond ring that someone had lost, what a disappointment only a quarter, but at least it was a better find than a penny.
One of the Sun Worshippers had watched Bret go around with his searching device and had wanted to see if the detector would find a quarter, so the quarter got buried in the sand and waited to be exposed. After Bret found the quarter the Sun Worshipper approached Bret and told him how impressed he was that he was able to find the coin. I do not know if Bret gave him his quarter back, but I tell you he sure wanted to give him something…!
After this tale repeating itself a couple of times a decision was made. People on beach, equals no metal detecting.
It is a Saturday morning so I better go take my test, grrrrowl.
