Keaiwa Heiau Hike - Happy Birthday Linda

Bret risking his life to get a walking stick

Snack Time

Worried Cheyenne offers Bret her stick so
he will not attempt to climb down again to find a better stick.

Little Miss Gipsy Girl

Did you notice how flexable Bret's left foot is?

Friends we went hiking with.

The highway is way down there.

Trying not to fall

Angel, John and Gipsy

This weekend we went hiking. My body is aching all over. The trail we followed was four and a half miles long. It was pretty rough, tree roots were all over the place and occasionally there was a tree or two we had to climb over making it easy to trip.

I was a little nervous because Cheyenne really liked running on the trail. If someone were to fall, they would keep falling for a long time, and because we were up pretty high, there would be no stopping until they reached the bottom or hit a tree.

This hiking ordeal took us three hours. The kids got a little worried towards the end that we were lost, and would not make it home ever. Needless to say they were totally wrong.

I took the girls to the dentist this morning, no cavities. Gipsy does have to go one more time though, but only to get sealant on two of her molars.

Happy Birthday Linda.

Tae Kwon Do

The girls started testing for their next belt in Tae Kwon Do last night and they will finish this evening. They are both doing really well.

First day of school is tomorrow. I am not going to have fun waking up Gipsy and Cheyenne at six am, I am not going to have fun waking up at six am either.

We have been doing a lot of shopping for school. Cheyenne needed new shoes and her feet have grown amazingly much over the summer. She is now a size five. I really hope Gipsy’s feet are done growing because she is already a size ten.

Tomorrow night we have a test in psychology. Cross your fingers…

The Weekend

This weekend we all went and saw The Break Up, it was totally missing the happy ending that was expected. We also went to see the remake of Omen, I can not remember a thing about the original but the remake did not impress me at all. It was long, drawn out and nothing much happened.

I tell you there is nothing quite like opening the cabinet and reaching in it to grab a coffee mug and discovering a giant roach hiding among the cups. Yuck! I naturally yelled out for my hero to rescue the situation. Bret came running into the kitchen armed with the vacuum cleaner, and he sucked that roach bitch into its death cell.

The exterminator should be here in a few days to kill all the bugs that have moved totally uninvited into our home. Die bugs, DIE!!!

We spent most of Sunday out on the boat. I took Princess, she did pretty good in the car for the first time. The boat however made her sick as a dog, barf. Princess was not very impressed by getting wet or having to swim to keep her little nose above water. There are pictures in the photo album of this adventure.

I got an A in Nutrition. I was so absolutely surprised I thought for sure that my 4.0 average had gone to the dogs.

We spent the day on the boat yesterday. The weather was not the greatest, windy a little cloudy and the water was pretty choppy. But we had lots of fun any ways.

Bret got sunburned; oops I guess I missed a few spots when I put on his sun block. Little Chey sunburned her little cheeks. Gipsy ripped the butt out of her bikini bottom, so she got all embarrassed, but luckily she had brought her shorts so she just wore them over the torn bikini bottom.
